Economic Development

The District of Barriere is making great strides in Economic Development of our region. We have several Industrial Parks, deep roots in forestry and mining, as well as retail, manufacturing and tourism opportunities.

We have an Economic Development Committee and a full time Economic Development Officer, Mr. Andrew Hayward.
